The civilian has been identified as Sharjeel Ahmed Sheikh. He was shot at by the government forces during the protests, and later succumbed at hospital, which erupted near the gunfight site between locals and the government forces. Initial reports suggest that Sharjeel had received bullet injury in his abdomen.
